An old uncle (no relation), wearing a polo shirt and formal shorts was walking in a pattern which I supposed was the figure 8. I, by the way, was out on my post-dinnner walk. It must have been around 9pm. So this uncle, no relation to me, would stop and tap his wrist watch. Then continue walking with a dissatisfied expression on his face.
As I stood watching him, not sure for how long, as I didnt have my watch on me, I wondered what he was doing. Asking him would have defeated the purpose of my wonderings. So here they are. Feel free to choose.
a. Mental Illness (unlikely)
b. The figure he was making (8) did'nt match the time on his watch. It was his watch. It should show him the time HE want to see.
c. He was told the watch runs on perpetual motion, not a battery.Like a Seiko. So he was charging it. Because the entire day he was just lying around watching Narcos.
d. He was asked not to walk too far from home.
e. He was on an invisible leash. His wife held it from the window.
f. He was sending a signal to aliens that it was time to pick him up.
g. He always wanted to figure skate but couldnt due to lack of skates, calcium, ice and appropriate attire.
h. It wasnt the figure eight but rather ∞ . Thats the infinity symbol.
So if he's not there tomorrow making figure 8s, the aliens most probably picked him up. Good for him.
